APPLY FOR A COURSE: as soon as you receive a confirmation email
or letter, please send us an email or call to confirm or cancel
your attendance at the course.
SPACE IS LIMITED:
If you have to cancel, please inform us immediately, so that we
may offer your place to another student.
Arrival
& Departure information
Please plan
to arrive on the opening day of the course (day 0) between 2 and
3 p.m. This will give you adequate time to register, to unpack
and to rest before the course begins.
IF YOU MUST
ARRIVE LATER, PLEASE LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.
On the opening
day of the course (Day 0), a light supper will be served at 6
p.m., followed by an orientation meeting. The course will begin
that evening (Day 0) and will end at 7:30 a.m. on Day 11.
Ten day courses
typically begin on a Wednesday evening (Day 0) and end early on
Sunday (Day 11).
All students
will stay for the entire course, from the beginning on Day 0 to
the end of the course on the morning of Day 11. The only exceptions
are those granted special permission to leave early by the Assistant
Teachers.
Donations
In the tradition
of pure Vipassana, courses are financed exclusively by donations.
These donations are accepted only from those students who have
completed at least one course of ten days with Mr. S. N. Goenka
or one of his Assistant Teachers. Having experienced the benefits
of Vipassana, students taking their first course may offer donations
on the 10th day of the course or any time thereafter.
